Upon arrival at Rome airport, transfer to the hotel for dinner.

The history of this city, built on seven hills, began twenty-eight centuries ago and grew to command the entire Roman Empire. Your full day sightseeing will touch upon each of her extraordinary facets, the Colosseum, Moses Fountain, the fountain of Trevi, Quirinale Palace, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Arch of Titus and the Mamertime Prison. The monumental Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican City will highlight your morning sightseeing. Visit the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum before leaving St. Peter's Square. See the Old Appian Way, the road Paul walked as he entered Rome, and the Saint Calixtus Catacombs. Visit the Basilica of Saint John Lateran and the "Holy Steps" (Scala Santa), where Martin Luther taught reforming the Church. Also "Quo Vadis", and the Baths of Caracalla, now an open air theater. As your day comes to an end visit the Basilica built over the tomb of Saint Paul. Return to the hotel for dinner.
